Introduction

CEREAL project aims to establish a user-centric ecosystem centered around universities by organically connecting universities, prospective students, current students, local university communities, and the job market. We aspire to foster mutual growth among the platform, tokens, and users by returning the value generated within the platform back to its users. Education is a crucial asset for future generations, and universities play a pivotal role in producing well-educated members of society. CEREAL strives to provide students with fair information and educational environments while supporting universities in attracting excellent students who align with their values.

Currently, students acquire information about universities through various means, such as online searches, university websites, admissions counseling, private education, and admissions seminars. Online searches and university websites often provide limited and mostly general information, making it challenging for individual students to obtain personalized information. Admissions counseling, private education, and admissions seminars are not equally accessible to all students and are temporary solutions. Dain Leaders, the operating entity of CEREAL, collaborates with universities to transparently disclose admission and academic information, establishing virtual university promotion centers, campuses, international student guidance offices, and admissions seminars within the metaverse. Moreover, we operate counseling centers with specialized advisors for each university to facilitate communication between students and universities, enabling students to obtain tailored information.

Users not only engage in activities between universities and students but can also form clubs within the community, where they exchange information and participate in platform activities together. Users can share information on admissions, majors, assignments, exams, and cover letters, and evaluate lectures and professors to contribute to the growth of the community. User activities are recorded on the blockchain, and they earn SBT (Soulbound Token) as proof of their activities. In the long term, every user accumulates different activity histories verified by SBT, which become individual career and profile attributes. Users can utilize the earned SBT to receive $CEP token rewards.

In an era of declining birth rates, competition among universities to attract new students has intensified, making university promotion a crucial means directly linked to their survival. Traditional university promotion methods such as press coverage, print advertisements, and offline promotional materials have given way to online promotion methods through social media, YouTube, and other digital channels. Rather than a unidirectional transmission of information from universities to students, the trend is moving toward universities and students being able to communicate with each other through familiar media, allowing students to actively participate in the promotion process. However, these promotional methods have not yet solidified their position in the market, and universities’ efforts to promote themselves often go unnoticed by students.

Through CEREAL, universities can target students interested in their institution, specific majors or fields, or those with specific backgrounds for promotion. Since the promotional expenses incurred directly benefit students, universities can enjoy high advertising efficiency. The expended promotional budget is exposed in the form of $CEP and is rewarded to users who perform the activities the university desires.

CEREAL records users' activities on the blockchain and uses this information to build an individual's career profile. This career serves as an intermediary that connects universities and students, contributing to students' roles as well-educated members of society. As more users experience educational growth through CEREAL, the platform expands, and users can earn greater rewards for their growth.
